Term
Internal link
Meaning
An internal link is a link from one page of a website to another page on the same site, helping visitors and crawlers move between related content. Google says every page you care about should be linked from at least one other page, and that links need to be proper anchor elements with an href to be crawled. Use descriptive anchor text, fix broken links and link from strong pages to the ones you want found next. Pages with no links pointing to them are hard to discover.
