Meta description
Meaning
A meta description is a short HTML summary of a page that search engines may display under the title in results; it is not guaranteed to be used. Google says it sometimes uses the tag to build the snippet, but snippets are mainly created from the page content itself, and there is no limit on its length, though results are truncated to fit. A clear, unique description, written for people and matching the page, can help someone decide to click.
