Long-tail keyword
Meaning
A long-tail keyword is a longer and more specific search phrase that usually shows clearer intent than a short, broad term. Laptop is broad and unclear, while laptop for coding students tells you who is searching and what they need. Such phrases are individually searched less often, but they are often easier to serve well and attract more suitable visitors. Group phrases that share one intent on a single strong page instead of publishing many weak ones. See also: Keyword, Search intent, and the guide Keyword Research Basics for Beginners in India.
