Meaning

SERP stands for Search Engine Results Page: the page shown after a query, which can include organic links, ads, maps, images, videos and answer features. Because the page is more than ten blue links, what you see depends on what the query seems to want, and on your location, language and device. Two people can therefore see different results for the same words. A search such as chemist near me, for example, typically brings up a map and local listings.
